Contemporary Stone Cottage, South Yorkshire

This project began with a brief to refine the planting schemes and introduce new elements that would sit comfortably within the wider garden. Set on heavy clay and exposed to strong valley winds, the site presented both challenges and opportunities. We’ve focused on improving drainage, enriching the soil, and adapting the planting palette to suit the conditions — building a garden that’s resilient as well as beautiful.

Looking ahead, plans are in place for a productive kitchen garden and a second natural pond to further enhance the space.
